Welcome to the 2010 SDS conference Registration. Use the information provided on this page to register for the 2010 conference to be held in Philadelphia from June 2 to 5, 2010.

Earlybird deadline
Early-bird deadline for the registration has been reset to April 20, 2010. Please be sure to register early to take advantage of discounts available. Consult the table below to learn how registering early can benefit you. Please give yourself sufficient time to complete the registration and to allow for any technical difficulties. This deadline will not be altered. Also visit the lodging page to learn about booking room(s) at the Temple University dorm by May 1.
Members & nonmembers
As in 2009, the conference registration process has been integrated with the membership database in order to allow SDS members to take advantage of registration discounts available to them. If you wish to take advantage of these discounts, be sure to join SDS as a member. If you are already a member of SDS or if your membership has elapsed, read the instructions in order to update your profile before returning to this page to begin registering for the 2010 conference. No earlybird discounts are available for nonmembers.

SDS accepts multiple payment types. Read the payment instructions to review payment types and instructions to submit checks. Be sure to note the deadlines for remitting your payment for registration and dorms in order to ensure that your reservations have not been canceled.

Rate information
New categories and options in 2010
Film pass
One of the six simultaneous sessions offered at the 2010 conference in Philadelphia will solely consist of content and presentations related to films. The film pass is a way for SDS to offer the opportunity to local communities to participate in this aspect of the conference. For $20, a participant will be able to view all films and presentations in the film track. the attendee will not be able to participate in any other presentations or social events.
Adjunct pass
Available to conference registrants who bring family, personal care attendants, or friends to the 2010 conference and who wish them to participate in films, social, and conference-sponsored meal events, the adjunct pass is intended to ensure that such family members, personal care attendants, and friends are able to do so by allowing SDS to anticipate the demand and costs for space and meals.
Up to five (5) adjunct passes that cost $50 each can be purchased during registration. Adjunct Pass holders will not be SDS members.
