The Society for Disability Studies welcomes you to our first fully online conference! This site is designed to provide the schedule, links to meeting rooms, spaces for "hallway" conversation, and guides for accessing the meetings and content. The majority of our program will be accessed via Zoom using Eastern Daylight Time (EDT) as the conference was originally planned to take place in Columbus, Ohio.
We are pleased to co-conference again with The Ohio State University (OSU) 20th annual Multiple Perspectives on Access, Inclusion, and Disability Conference. The SDS Strand adds two days to the conference, allowing us to have scheduled events April 4-7.
Generously funded by The Ohio State University and the Ethel Louise Armstrong Endowment, the OSU Multiple Perspectives Conference is extends its support to include SDS. The OSU conference, running April 6-7, expands perspectives on disability and enhances community resources for a broad and diverse audience.
Thank you to OSU sponsors: the Disability Studies Program, the Department of English, the Graduate Association of Mental Health Access and Advocacy (GAMHAA), the Disability Studies Graduate Student Association (DSGSA), M+A Architects, the Office of Diversity and Inclusion, the Barnett Center for Integrated Arts and Enterprise, the Office of Student Life, and the Global Arts and Humanities Discovery Theme. Thanks also to the Transformative Access Project (TAP).
