You can help support the mission of SDS in many ways. One way is through your financial contribution. All donations are fully tax-deductible. You can donate to our general fund and let us decide how to use the money for programming, core operations, and more. Or you can dedicate your donation to accessibility as additional support for maintaining the website and providing CART and/or ASL interpretation at conferences and meetings; to DSQ as targeted funds for our premier open-access journal Disability Studies Quarterly ; or to membership as a resource through which you help sponsor students to become SDS members. You can attend a conference or other upcoming SDS events, or purchase items when available.
Full information about membership benefits and the 2021 dues structure for individuals and organizations can be found here.
We hope you’ll also consider making a tax-deductible donation beyond your annual dues payment.
Your donations and dues support SDS’s journal Disability Studies Quarterly, make possible a growing range of SDS programs and conference strands, and promote student engagement in the field of disability studies including the Irving K. Zola Emerging Scholar Award and participation in the SDS@OSU Multiple Perspectives conference.
