The nomination period for SDS’s 2026 elections is now open. We encourage self-nominations and nominations of colleagues who would be a strong fit for the organization.
This year, there are several Board positions open, including at-large and graduate student representative seats, as well as select Executive Board roles that play an important role in supporting the ongoing work of SDS and its committees.
We welcome nominations from individuals across disciplines, career stages, and professional contexts, including those engaged in community-based and activist work.
Board service involves regular attendance and participation in meetings, committee work, and collaborative organizational decision-making. We encourage nominations from individuals who are in a position to take on these responsibilities and contribute to the collective work of the organization.
