The Society for Disability Studies invites you to honor, remember, and celebrate the legacy and contributions made by disabled activists and disability studies scholars who are no longer with us. This section offers space where where remembrances are collated (in alphabetical order).
If you would like to celebrate the life of a scholar/activist, please fill out the following Celebrations Form. Entries can be co-authored, and the form is editable after initial submission. You do not need to fill everything out at once. We have also designed a Google Document version of the form which you can download as a Word Doc. Completed documents and any questions can be emailed to Nicole Schroeder at nicole@disstudies.org. If you have other access needs, we would be happy to meet by phone or video call to discuss.
